Overview
In response to the Covid crisis, the consortium (Groupe-6, Aspida and IMeBIO, supported by Institut Mérieux, with ERINHA, a European infrastructure expert in pathogens and biosafety, Life Ingénierie and GL EVENTS) has designed HOPLITE, a modular facility for Bio-contained intensive care that can be deployed in 20 days, and can provide 15 to 30 additional beds.
A global innovation made in France, HOPLITE gathers containers and deployable structures in a minimal footprint that can be easily stored and moved. Its modular design is triply scalable : in capacity (expandable), in security level (pathogens), and in equipment (possibility of adding technical modules, imaging...).
