Engagement

IMeBIO is engaged in the production of modular and mobile biocontainment units that enable the isolation of dangerous pathogens, such as viruses, in a closed environment. This is achieved by following strict safety measures, to avoid their accidental release, especially during research activities. The fields of application of biocontainment facilities are numerous and transverse to scientific/health activities.

Configuration

IMeBIO can offer 3 standard laboratory-type models: BSL-2, BSL-3 and cGMP clean room in 40- and 20-feet container sizes.

Compliant

All our solutions are available in compliance with international biosafety guidelines and standards WHO, CDC-NIH BMBL, EU ...to provide the best containment environment for dangerous microorganisms or biological agents.   

Testing & Commissioning 

Confident of the quality of our products, IMeBIO can offer its customer, upon request, an initial laboratory evaluation in our factory in the presence of the customer (FAT), then a qualification on the customer's installation site (SAT).   IMeBIO will provide the necessary utilities to enable the testing of the equipment in our factory in accordance with the approved FAT protocol. 

Tests (OQ, IQ) will be conducted at the manufacturer's site and at the installation site to obtain and keep the ISO 14644 classification.

Tests will be performed under operational conditions. Commissioning procedures will be in accordance with EU and US c-GMP. 

For public health organizations, our mobile BSL-2 and BSL-3 labs are ideal for monitoring epidemiological and pandemic risks, for short-term R&D projects requiring confined lab facilities, and for public health emergency management purposes.

HOPLITE -Modular Hospitalization Complex for bio-contained intensive care. A support solution for the fight against COVID-19 that provides hospitals with the means to offer additional capacity for rapidly deployable intensive care beds for public health in a crisis.

IMeBIO has been working and collaborating with NGO-IGO (UNOPS, WHO) and major foundations (Institute Merieux, Institute Pasteur, Bill and Melinda...)  since the beginning of its activities.

We are UN-registered suppliers and actively cooperate with developing countries. Our Biocontainment solutions are operational in developing countries such as Ethiopia, Benin, Senegal, Madagascar, and Congo, and thanks to our after-sales service network every laboratory is working and functioning properly.

Our company is committed to the development of self-sufficiency in laboratory management and invests in the training of local operators so that they can develop their skills and keep the biocontainment units operational and efficient.  

The uniqueness of our containerized solutions together with our logistic capacity allows us to reach even the most inaccessible places both by sea and by air. Emergency situations such as the outbreak of the Ebola pandemic have seen us play an active role in the supply of laboratories. 

IMeBIO BSL containment solutions meet the needs of military health services and CBRN applications, for missions such as epidemiological monitoring, pandemic risks, shielding, and health emergencies requiring rapidly deployable confined spaces. The solutions are mobile and adaptable to work as a stand-alone unit or as part of a complex configuration and can withstand extreme temperatures.

One of our related projects was the conception and manufacturing of the 1st BSL-3 Biological and Chemical Mobile Laboratory in France for civil security. Developed for Marseille's Navy Firefighters Battalion BMPM, specialized in CBRNe (Chemical, Biological, Radiological Nuclear, and Explosive) risks.
Our solution will allow them to set up as close as possible to the crisis perimeter, increasing their reactivity and reliability of results.
